Montreal's Mile End Records return with a superb new EP from DJ/producer Darius Syrossian featuring three cuts of no holds barred House music. Darius Syrossian has made quite an impact since arriving on the scene around a decade ago. Releases for labels such as Viva Music, OFF Recordings, Area Remote and of course Mile End Records have helped him become a household name in dance music circles whilst his busy DJ schedule has seen him traversing the globe. His release for Montreal's Mile End Records was one of the label's highlights in 2012, now he returns with a brand new offering in the shape of the "Destination EP'. The release kicks off with 'To the Gate', a solid pulsing slice of House music that fuses tough bass, rolling drums and an old school rising arpeggiated synth line with a classic R&B acapella for maximum dancefloor devastation. Hot on its heels comes 'Far From Home' a deeper, tech fuelled affair that sees Syrossian journey into darker territory before a sumptuous piano line joins the mix, lifting things to another level, quality stuff. The package is completed with Darius' ode to 'Manchester', a ruff House cut that brings together floorshaking bass and beats with subtle melodic elements some timely placed vocal snippets. Darius Syrossian's music may not be about to change the world but it is guaranteed to get a dancefloor moving and this latest offering once again re-affirms his undoubted talent, enjoy!
