- New Claremont act Almunia bring us their debut 12 for the label as a precursor to their album. Side-A offers up'New Moon a subtle, atmospheric slo-mo jam, with sparkling guitar lines and a hefty throb in the bottom end, added Floyd-esque touches and weird out vocals bring a nice psychedelic touch. Over on Side-B, the instrumental version of'Travel packs a slightly weightier punch, with a sluggish bass and beats combo this one nods along in a chunky electro-boogie-rock fashion, layers of FX guitar and a slightly moody air all add to the flavour. Quality stuff.
