Edinburgh lads Motion Sky, as usual, aren’t fooling around as they make their return to the label with their off-the-hook Dee Bop EP, 2 hard-hitting, ass-kicking originals and 2 phenomenal, grooving remixes from Craig Robinson and Michael Quadelli, both making their debut to the label.

Dee Bop: infectious, pumping, gripping, energetic, euphoric.. The list goes on and on for the descriptions for this track. Motion Sky surely know how to kick off an EP the right way with lead track Dee Bop, a down-right dark, heavy, techy groover with an explosive bassline and vintage sounding synth stabs and hook vocal samples

Dem Steelz while carrying on a similar energy and drive from the lead track, contains a melodic pinchy, subby bassline with a metallic powerful synth line that slices through the mix to cut away at any emotional heart strings you may once have had. With a powerful breakdown, and a classic oscillation rate build of the main synth, this really is one badass tune.

Craig Robinson takes the level down a notch to produce a groovy, smooth, funk influenced remix of Dee Bop. The bassline carries a similar vibe and frequency mix to that of an electric bass guitar, perfectly standing out in the mix with an interesting spin from the original melody

Michael Quadelli adds a unique flair to his remix by adding a thumping rhythmic two-toned bassline as the main driver of the track whilst giving an atmospheric breakdown of the original’s vocals and synth stabs of the track to create a perfect dynamic remix.
