Toolroom and Basement Jaxx have teamed up several times in recent years to spectacular effect. Be it Mark Knight’s remix of ‘Never Say Never’ or more recently the awesome Erik Hagleton remix of ‘Jump n Shout’, this long-standing and fruitful relationship continues to wow. Next up is a brand new interpretation of the all-time classic and instantly recognisable ‘Rendez-Vu’.

Originally released way back in 1999, this seminal record was one of the first Jaxx tracks to really make an impact and take the World dance scene by storm. Jesse Garcia is the man who steps up to the plate on this occasion - and he's delivered two fresh mixes that bring this right up to date. The ‘Club Mix’ goes straight for the tech-house jugular with an off–beat, energetic bass line alongside those incredible vocals and unmistakable guitars from the original. The ‘Tribal Mix’ is a little lighter, makes use of the full vocals and creates a real carnival feel so there is something for everyone here!

Expect to see huge DJ support and radio play on both versions and look out for more special Toolroom vs Basement Jaxx projects coming soon…
