With his debut artist album officially arriving to stores in a fortnight, American sensation Dan Sieg (of Dan and Sam) has undoubtedly emerged as one of the leaders of Silk Royal. A thrilling series of releases by Dan in the proceeding months begins with "No Way Back Up," the first single from his forthcoming "A Sense Of Wonder" artist album. Dan has never shied away from writing emotive vocal anthems; his past Dan and Sam hit "Walls," featuring Maxx Hennard, proved to be one of the most supported singles in the history of our imprint. It is our great joy to present a new collaboration between Dan and Silk veteran duo Illuminor, who not only have been producing trance and progressive hits of their own of late, but who also are capable of writing and performing breathtaking vocals.

In "No Way Back Up," a gentle breakbeat slowly picks up steam, while a variety of bell-tinged hooks and other supporting melodies contribute a lush soundscape. The patient crescendo ultimately culminates into a stunning chorus by Michael Ware of Illuminor, who sings of the tragic dissolution of a relationship. Michael profoundly delivers the metaphor of a fall too painful and far, from which to recover.
