Japan's Tomi Chair releases his first of two projects with Nice & Nasty and his blend of subtle melodic techno that verges on the edge of progressive house gets remixed by Canada's Tomas Jirku and Ireland's Scott Curtis (of Teknaphonik) and Brian Taaffe.
Jirku goes deep and abstract into the murky waters of minimal, abstract electronica and broken beat techno jazz whilst Brian Taaffe offers a more funky minimal sound. The cream of the club cuts comes from Scott Curtis as he transforms the techno into a deep house monster.
Tomi Chair is a real force emerging from the Tokyo underground and a full on global trinity between Tokyo-Vancouver-Dublin will help forge Tomi Chair and nice & nasty among their peers.
