Soul Life are sure to turn heards with this high quality EP from Illusive.
After the success of the first release on the Soul Life label we’re excited to be able to offer another storming EP from in demand producer Ross Couch under his Illusive alias.
Kicking off the EP in sublime fashion is the soulful house sound of ‘Round & Round (All Mixed Up)’ which has been gaining a great deal of interest before we’ve even had a chance to get it out on promo! Certain tracks have an indefinable something extra that makes you want to play them again and again, and we think this is one of them. From the distinctive Rhodes chords and tight bass guitar through to the lush strings, memorable vocal and synth lead hook, this is a track with a timeless quality that will see it stay at the front of your box for a long time to come.
Next up is ‘The Way That You Move’ which changes the mood with an unadulterated party track designed to put a smile on your face and get your ass shakin’ on the dance-floor. This track comes in two flavours with the original opting for a large helping of squelchy synth bass, heavily effected Wulrtizer chords and trumpet riff to complement the vocal hook, whilst the Classic house mix ships in funk bass, piano and a pizzicato lead. Whichever mix you use, dance-floor satisfaction is guaranteed!
