Hook&Bass Productions is a movement of understanding life and music, Willie Rodriguez and Tito Rodriguez came from a background of music, working at a record store called "DiscoRama" in NYC, we have over 30yrs of musical knowledge coming from a background of latin music, disco music, afro cuban, funk and soul, hiphop, electro, when we started djing we had to be well rounded, our mentors have been Louie Vega, David Morales, Joe Claussell, Todd Terry, Kerri Chandler, Latin Rascals, JohNick, Davidson Ospina, MAW, DjPremier, Marley Marl, La Fania All Stars, Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, this was the music we grew up with, so now with our production we try to incorporate our musical knowledge and background.
