Alpha & Olmega Feat. Sheyi & Thuli Isandlwana Including mixes from Antonello Coghe & Rancido, Paul DeepNuLu Music is excited to release Isandlwana by Alpha & Olmega feat Sheyi & Thuli, coming straight to you from South Africa, not only is this song beautifully produced and remixed for every DJ and music lover to enjoy, but it comes with a deep rooted message, which we at NuLu take great pride in releasing music that not only moves your body but touches your soul. And this you cannot help to feel when you listen to the strong powerful Zulu man speaking as the Zulu woman sings in desperation and anger.
The meaning of Isandlwana is best described and explained by Sheyi himself, and this is what he told us...
" The track is based on events on January 22nd 1879. It occurred at "Isandlwana" (hill of the little hand, in the Royal Zulu language) and it was during a study on South African history (necessary due to the tremendous music outlay from those shores) that I became aware of this fabled event...the only reversal of arms of the great Victorian British empire, such as to be rendered and celebrated in both British books, Zulu books and South African History curriculums today but it doesn't stop there, this historical event was so important and profound that it was depicted in the films ZULU and ZULU DAWN starring Michael Caine.
"I hope that King Ceteswayo's Giya chant is depicted well enough with his opening speech; I have one question for you! One question!!"
"In accordance with NULU's continual in-depth musical study from African source, we are profoundly proud to feature Isandlwana", says Sheyi.

So when your rocking this track on the dance floors, understand that you playing a tribute, celebrating a chapter and teaching a piece of African Zulu History!
