Glenn Morrison & Matt Lange are longtime friends and musical collaborators. Doing extensive work together has paid off in dividends as this release showcases a darker, more hypnotic side to their work. 'Bowed' is an extremely detailed and musically minimalistic approach, with light flashes of melody crashing in, juxtaposed against the grimy underlay. Matt's wonderful homemade sample of the grating string instrument you hear in the record is all part and parcel to the IsoRhythm brand that he cultivates. 'Class B' is a chugging big room affair, with an ominous bass tone that shatters big room systems. It's a builder with industrial metallic shards of sound that cut in deep to accent the rolling baseline and groove. This is a showcase of two brilliant minds in action and this is a past release being re-issued through Ambient Wave Records.
