Ciszak launches himself into the bizarre world of Strangelove for his first contribution to the label, with the highly stimulating STRANGE002 EP ‘I’m Down’– Snapshotting the label’s sound direction in itself and for many releases to come.
On the A-side, listeners are presented with a rich, vocal lead club burner with bouncy drums, wiley modulated synths and creepy horror-house style piano tremmors, somewhat playful yet unnerving in melody, texture and suspense.
For the B-side Ciszak provides a similarly ghoulish synth line to its counterpart whilst exercising a meaty bassline, coarse drum programming and a rather provocative and suggestive vocal performance that marks the uniqueness of this perfectly executed oddity.
