Long standing Familia resident DJ, Fabio Ferro, makes his second appearance on the Familia label with two fully charged peak time cuts along with a remix from rising techno star Roberto Capuano.
First up is 'Phases' with it's warm rolling bassline, hypnotic vocal glitches and syncopated snare patterns. Capuano's 'I'll House You' remix keeps the essence of the original track but adds a bold four to the floor stripped-back techno feel with a commanding vocal and brazen synth hook over Roberto's unmistakable kick drum. 'Restless' marches forward with wall-shaking force from the offset, complete with floating pads, snare rolls, tight percussion, and an enveloping bass ensuring maximum impact throughout.
Fresh from his appearances in Ibiza over the Summer Fabio's had a busy year in the studio with releases on Detroit legend Stacey Pullens' Blackflag Recordings and technapoli Godfather Makantonio's MKT Records. Fabio's consistency at setting dancefloors alight and has given him a well deserved reputation to be one to watch.
Roberto Capuano's name is synonymous with the Naples techno sound, often playing out alongside another Drumcode favourite Luigi Madonna and releases on labels such as AnalyticTrail, Unrilis and of course Adam Beyer's imprint, it's not hard to see how he's cultivated his following and notoriety.
Fabio Ferro's Phases EP is sure to make waves after some heady support from some of the most respected names in the business and marks the 7th release on the label.
