"Octa Push are a portuguese duo that fuses lusophone (Angola, Bissau, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tomé) music with electronic sounds.
Their second LP, 'Lingua' is scheduled for release in September and features guests such as Tó Trips (Dead Combo) , Batida , Cachupa Psicadélica, Cátia Sá (Guta Naki), Maria João Grancha , João Gomes ( Orelha Negra) , Braima Galissa , AF Diaphra , Gospel Collective among others.
A record , almost entirely in Portuguese language and a tribute to the Lusophone music that has been made in the last 40 years.
Electronic music meets semba , morna , funaná, afrohouse and even brazilian music."
