German club scenester Tapesh returns to the Defected fold this time in the company of UK born DJ / Producer Mark Reeve. The EP’s names sake ‘Bring Back 88’ does exactly that; an old skool UK house banger, a sound that has been prominent over the last 12 month but produced with 2010 techniques. Joining ‘Back to 88’ in a similar vein is ‘7 Minutes’, a slightly deeper, jazz infused, affair that rounds this EP off perfectly. Be prepared to hear these everywhere….
