This month we welcome the Filta Freqz to the Soulsupplement Records family. Simon & Marco are hands down one of our favorite production duos of all time and after hanging with them one night last year at ADE we were lucky to leave Amsterdam in one piece. All kidding aside we’ve been fans of the Filta Freqz for quite a while now and are proud to release their debut Soulsupplement Ep “Way 2 Go”.

Without any messing about we get things started with the original mix of the Ep title track “Way 2 Go”. A straightforward four on the floor number that sets the tone in quick order. The fellas have the rhythm dialed in perfectly which is paired up with a subtle bass line that works flawlessly. With their foundation laid in the fellas’ layer juicy vocal bits, jackin guitar runs and tastefully played key lines. Everyone inside the Soulsupplement compound love this one and we’re sure you will too.

Taking us home in proper Filta Freqz fashion is the original mix of “Take Note”. This one will serve you well if you’re looking to jack the body of every dancer on the floor…and some of those who just watching in the wings. Again the boys give us a no nonsense rhythm section coupled with a fat bass line that anchors the entire track. On top of that solid framework they give us some nice horn riffs, a few incognito guitar bits and classic key stylings. All of that is well and good, however it’s the vocal samples that make this track one of the best floor jackers of 2016. Don’t sleep on it…trust us on this.

Once again we welcome the Filta Freqz to team Soulsupplement we’re pretty positive that this is only the first in what will be many future releases from these two top fellas.
