The original has already been causing a stir on dancefloors worldwide as well as igniting some serious trainspotting intrigue after being one of the standouts on and receiving massive support on John Digweed's influential Transitions radio show. With it's creative juxtaposition of contemporary productions aesthetics and classic melodic sensibilities, this is sure fire classic and well deserving of the massive hype it has already generated. Supported by Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Misjah, Remy, Deepchild, Sasse, Chris Fortier, Nick Muir, Nick Warren, DJ Yellow, Iguchi Satoshi, Wally Lopez, Kasey Taylor, Stephan Bodzin, Tiefschwarz, Onionz, Alexander Maier, Hybrid, Paul Oakenfold and many more... - Our second purely digital release on Dieb Audio comes courtesy of the on-form and in-demand production of Fiord. Here, they team up with Joel Xavier and present us with the 3rd instalment of their Triangle concept. The original has already been causing a stir on dance floors worldwide as well as igniting some serious train spotting intrigue after being one of the standouts on and receiving massive support on John Digweed's influential Transitions radio show. With it's creative juxtaposition of contemporary productions aesthetics and classic melodic sensibilities, this is sure fire classic and well deserving of the massive hype it has already generated. As is customary with our remix selection, we've drafted is some very noteworthy talent in to provide the alternate versions of the original for your listening pleasure. First up, fellow New Zealnder Tim Richards steps up to the plate and offers up a chunky, sparse rework, centering around a seriously infectious, groovy and phat rumbling bass line. Add to that some very clever studio trickery and subtle inclusion of the originals key elements and you've got a hard hitting dub suitable for even the trickiest, most demanding situations. Keeping things south of the Equator and more specifically Australia, we've managed to rope in emerging star Mic Newman who has been gracious enough to churn out a very very cool alternative mix to round the package of. Fresh from (and possibly influenced by) his recent production work for the likes of Dirt Crew and Get Physical, Mic has crafted a powerful, groove-oriented and now sounding piece focusing on percussive qualities as well as some very interesting and diverse melodic textures. Happy listening!!! DJ REACTIONSa . Sasha: Great stuff guys Hernan Cattaneo: original been huge for me now will follow with this new mixes Dubfunk: Tim Richards Remix for me. It's little wonder many of John Digweed's old faithful following have been going gaga over this, its deep throbbing and hypnotic beats, swelling atmospherics and tribalistic rhythms are so safely Bedrock-esque, but when a tribute is this good, who cares? I'll drop the TR version in bigger more tweaked out rooms and the Mic N version in dubbier smoked out moments - both are utterly useful.
