The fact that Dance Spirit and David Scuba are putting out our 10th release on Desert Hearts Records is incredibly nostalgic for us. Now internationally touring artists, Reagan and Chris of Dance Spirit were literally our very first headliners at our first Desert Hearts gathering 3 years ago. This was back when they were known as Android Cartel and Desert Hearts was just a starry eyed 200 person gathering in the middle of nowhere. The Dance Spirit boys stole the show while braving sub-zero temperatures and became a part of our family forever. It feels like a lifetime since that first party together, but it feels amazing to finally have our first Dance Spirit release coming out on Desert Hearts Records alongside DH veteran, David Scuba. David, or "Uncle Scoobs" as we like to call him, has been a long-time mentor to us and we couldn't be happier for his return on the label. The Superfreq Partner and Resident DJ has been smashing Desert Hearts dance floors in his own right for a while now. The 3 track EP is full of dark, twisted techno cuts perfect for late night dance floors and weird afterparties. This one is for the true techie heads. We have a feeling you'll enjoy this EP as much as we do.
