As the colder nights draw in and summer feels like a distant memory, we're really excited to bring you four cuts of quality house music, reminiscent of those sunnier times. We welcome Marck Jamz to Inner City, a hip-hop/house vocalist from Oslo, Norway who's talent for fusing house with hip hop vocals has resulted in releases on labels such as Miguel Mig's Salted Music, Definition Music and D-Vine Sounds.

For the Body Rock EP, Marck has joined forces with the incredible Sheree Hicks, who after signing to Def Jam in the mid-90's, has been an ever-present force in the music business for over 20 years. During that time, she's written for Blackstreet/Teddy Riley, Heavy D, C & C Music Factory, and more. On beat making duties is the ever-brilliant Soledrifter who we are delighted to have back on Inner City following his Skatterbrain EP earlier in the year.

Soledrifter provides a sublime deep house backdrop to Marck and Sheree's vocals. With his tireless work ethic, undeniable talent behind the mixing desk, and ear for uncommon sounds and textures, Soledrifter’s attention is focused not on the trends, but on the intimate details of his productions With an impressive roster of releases on Salted Music, Large, King Street Sounds and Amenti Music his productions are a prominent feature in charts and DJ sets alike.

On remix duties, an artist that needs little introduction and one we're over the moon to have on this release, Scott Diaz providing a garage-tinged dancefloor oriented remix that blew us away from the first listen. Scott has ploughed a wide and all encompassing path during his 10 years as a DJ and producer, playing and producing right across the spectrum of house. His influences range from disco and funk right through to deeper peak time jams and mid-90's US garage, taking in all that's great about modern house music. Scott's energy and vibe as a performer has been winning him fans worldwide, and his reputation as a DJ and standout producer is one of the fastest growing the house world right now.

Next up on remix duties, we're really excited to have Inner City regular Leigh D Oliver on board. Leigh has delivered an absolute quality mix, taking the release in a deeper & techier direction. Hailing from Yorkshire UK, Leigh D Oliver grew up surrounded by music and began his love affair with vinyl when he discovered a batch of discarded 7''s from the local pub jukebox. In the late nineties, Leigh experienced his first taste of 'proper' house music at Back To Basics in Leeds, inspiring him to expand his repertoire by purchasing a pair of decks, accumulating an extensive vinyl collection and cobbling together a studio. Leigh's productions continue to be inspired by the underground clubs and parties up
