EDR009 titled "Hammerhead" features Plane Shifter, from parts unknown. The title track lives up to it's name as it attacks - incessantly, deliberately, and razor sharp. Mechanical in sound, and ruthless in nature, Hammerhead is sure to demolish the largest of crowds. Track 2 titled "Bull Shark" is led by hair-raising bottom, crunchy percussion, and short, yet effective breakdowns.
EDR is pleased to welcome one of Berlin's finest, Subjected, as a guest remixer. His remix displays why he is in demand as both a producer, and a performer, and is in the playlists and charts of techno heavy weights around the globe. Fueled by thick bass, a groovy hook, and slick transitions, Subjected's remix will please even the headiest of listeners.
Jay Zoney is up next with a remix from a computer world. He dials things back a bit here, yet sticks to his roots with a driving melodic journey.
Closing out the release is Obstruct from Kansas City, Missouri. He holds back nothing here with a driving peak time remix. Rolling bass, crisp hats, and clever use of the original's lead all come together for a behemoth techno piece.
