“Gifted” is a work of art by two of SA's afro-house maestros. We've been patient in completing this offering, to fully explore the afro/tribal sounds of The Motherland. The title song emerged when RawSoulKru was busy with Soule Villain's "The Dogon People of Mali" remixes, inspired by Africa and her people. From there, the duo went on to "Underground Politix", which was intended to be much more spiritual and evoke emotion; hence we had to feature the amazingly talented Sobz. The song lets you escape your everyday life, your nine-to-5, just to explore the beauty of African music fused with electronic synths and uplifting orchestral harmonies. Well we have no words to describe "Herbal Gathering", it has been kept in our vaults for over 3 years now and we feel it is time we all experience its raw intensity and the African drum.
