If you’ve checked in with the work of Definition already then you should know by now what to expect: solid, up-tempo and raucous grooves that have been presented to us with the dancefloor in mind. From that perspective, his appearance on the British label, Underground Audio, is naturally one that’s reciprocal for all parties.
The Lost Moves EP features three tracks, all of which are primed to proverbially slay the dancefloor. ‘Daylight’ sees Definition pipe up alongside legendary vocalist Roland Clark, whose name you most likely recognise from his work alongside Fatboy Slim as well as his own ubiquitous anthem, ‘I Get Deep’. Refreshingly, the tracks lives up to it’s billing two, as the duo combine with some serious panache.
Elsewhere, we’re introduced to the sounds of ‘Move Down’, which again showcases both Definition and UA’s penchant for full-on dancefloor aesthetics. Last but not least, we have the more pitched back but equally brilliant, ‘Lost’. A beguiling gem of a tune, it stands out from the pack thanks to its haunting pads and an ethereal spirit that lingers throughout. When you really must decimate the dancefloor, Underground Audio’s latest will go down a real treat
