D-Deck is back on Agile with a storming two-tracker which gets down to business from the very start. The title track's pulsating rhythm section sets the tone for the whole EP, and looped electronics pave the way for commanding chords and a rocksteady groove from hell. "Kimolos" picks up from there and continues with low-pitched, dirty synth stabs while a warped vibe emanates from the intricate sonic manipulation. Add some mild industrial overtones to the mix and you've got yourself a surefire winner.
