Purebliss recordings is proud to introduce DJ Sdumo’s first EP titled “Deep Inversion” which features the talented vocalist Mandla and the instrumentalists Njabu and Pontsho. DJ Sdumo hails from a lively township on the outskirts of Pretoria known as Mamelodi (which literally translates to “Mother of Melodies”).

Fortunately, this release is nothing short of amazing melodies that are beautifully blended to create harmonious sounds that soothes your mind and soul. His journey in music started at a tender age of 17 when he got invited to play at several parties in his neighbourhood. In a bid to bolster his music career, he is currently studying towards a music production diploma at an institution in Pretoria.

While working on the EP, a lot of inspiration was drawn from the music already done by the seasoned producers like TekniQ, 60 Hertz, Dvine Lopez to name a few. It is a mixture of Deep and Soulful house infused with a touch of jazz and a bit of broken beat. Get yourself a copy to get a true feel of what this is about. I hope you enjoy!!
