In a career spanning over twenty years John has worked with some of the most influential electronic music labels in the business from R&S, Peacefrog, Derrick May's Transmat, California label Ubiquity Records, Dutch label Delsin Records and now he has teamed up with music don Four Tet and his label Text Records.

Faux finds John returning to his experimental techno roots. A song written out of the blue one night and shared with Kieran (Four Tet) a few days later. Kieran replied stating that he doesn't release other artists solo projects on his label, John replied "if you do a remix then you can!" Kieran replied "I was already thinking about that!" Shortly there after Kieran slammed out a dance floor friendly remix of Faux for the release. Text Records dropped the vinyl release of this single in early October 2014.
John's label Dado Records will be handling the digital release that will include both the original and Four Tet's version of Faux. As well as a bonus track A New Room, a Thom Yorke meets Four Tet influenced piece of melancholia thats perfect for the cold months ahead!
