Louie Corrales goes straight for the jugular in his debut on Transmit and "Ansiedad" sternly sets the tone for the EP with a stomping rhythm section providing the ideal backdrop for spacious effects and tense atmospherics. The cavernous vibe is only reinforced by the hi-pitched mayhem after the breakdown, making sure that every minute counts.
"Fix Your Face" picks up from there and lets the rolling drums do the talking, while another FX arsenal is unleashed, together with processed vocal snippets and yet another climax towards the end. After that maelstrom, "Xerxes" takes over and employs noise manipulation in a variety of ways, letting austere percussion hold things down while a a hypnotic tone emanates throughout the whole affair.
