Funk man returns!!

Native Funk (aka Mike Shilling) is no stranger to the studio. Mike has released on labels such as Ovum, Rhythmic Deep, Colorecordings and Kapa Music and has spent over 18 years deep inside the Industry as the 'tastemaker' for 'tastemakers'.

Here he gives us a solid return to the early days of Detroit electro breaks with the original take of 1980. Fused electric drums with the modern style production bring this tune to life. Also on the line up we have a remix from our man of the hour 'Leech'. Giving us his interpretation, Leech's Cold war Mix offers up straight Detroit Techno with a thumping 808 kick that'll leave no one standing against the wall! Jay Tripwire slowed this pass down a bit, we liked it so we decided to add it to the release.

For a nice bonus we also added Cosmic Creatures by the Leech with additional production by Native funk. Enjoy!
