Opus Klien - Inhale E.P.
From the basements of Ireland we welcome the production powerhouse duo of Opus Klien to the Sprechen fold with the first of two absolute whalloping E.P.'s to drop with us in 2026. Sent our way by our very good friend Krysko (always a good sign of yessmate quality), what was a playlist of about 12 tracks has been fine tuned into 2 releases, the first being the Inhale E.P.
Straight up, no messing club thumpers are the order of the day across the 3 tracks within. The lead title track has been getting some serious rotation already courtesy of Paul Woolford on Radio 1 when he dropped it in his Essential Mix! It's a peak time, endorphin shattering slab of solid house music with a harder edge that's softened out by a real laser reaching vocal & pads. Lush!
Transition follows up and is a real treat for all the mutant Italo heads. It delivers on all hooky elements with a rolling bass & squelchy arps in amongst raspy synths and a snappy vocal sample. Perfect mid set stomper.
Berta closes the party off and is right of the gates as a peak time, heads down & sweating buckets number that builds & builds before dropping into what we're pretty sure is a sampled chain gang singing, complete with chain rattles doubling as off-shot percussion hits. Big drop downs & build ups that kick into a serious workout. Is 'Prisoner House' a new sub genre?
