"Remembrance is not just about remembering the good and the bad; it is also about acknowledging the past. To me, it's about reflecting on your life choices and finding ways to improve each day. In the middle of making this album, my grandpa passed away from cancer. He took me on many road trips and was always a positive and knowledgeable person. He inspired me to become an educator and always encouraged me to do what makes me happy rather than worrying about what other people think. Whether it's the loss of a close friend or family member or you're reminiscing about old mistakes, remember that all you can do now is take it one day at a time. You can’t change the past, but the past can indeed change you if you don’t let it go. As for the music on the album, it is, as always, a mix of genres.
