There's something almost deceptive about the way It's Over begins. It feels straightforward at first—steady percussion, a bassline that doesn't rush anywhere. But then it keeps pulling in small details, one layer after another, until the groove is heavier than you realized. It's House Music stripped to what matters, yet dressed in just enough shimmer to catch the ear.

Aaron Cold sits behind this one, and I have to admit, it's a little different hearing him here. He's been featured before through a remix, and that had its own charm, but this is his first original track for Wreckastow Records. You can sense the pride in it, or maybe I'm projecting—still, it feels intentional. Confident but not loud.

The title, It's Over, suggests finality, yet the track itself circles and stretches. It doesn't really end so much as dissolve, like smoke in a room. You could imagine it carrying a set into deeper waters, or maybe closing out a night when people are too tired to talk but not ready to leave.

It's House, yes, with a strong groove at its heart. But also something a little less defined. Something that leaves space. Maybe that's what makes it stick.
