The Adam Ten & Solomun-inspired rise in left-field dance music has filled the "Indie Dance" DJ charts with an influx of new producers. KEYTARBI is one of these rising stars that has caught our ears, her "Quito" cut delivering the kind of uptempo chug we want in a left-field set. The wonderfully oddball "Pancakes" is her debut for us. Featuring the spoken tones of legendary house vocalist Robert Owens. "It ain't over," he tells us, "until Bertha calls you into the kitchen, for some of her delicious pancakes." We have no idea what he's on about either, but with a groove this good, who needs anything to make sense? It's just a banger!
