Diskotopia continues 2025 into the Autumn months with Niikkolahs unveiling his 2nd EP in just under a year, entitled True Science. Following his debut release Modes, along with the Trimmed Limbs release A Sense Of Wonder, Niikkolahs here continues to unfold a sonic tapestry rich with a polyrhythmic, naturalist funk that sheds light on emergent transmissions traced across millennia – highlighting an interplay between tangible and etheric sound creation.

Niikkolahs explains the inspirations behind the True Science EP as "pursuing the boundaries of human experience further through missives into consciousness, altered states, and latent Earth energies."

Dubwise basslines anchor buoyant, ritualistic percussion and carnival-ready synths on title track 'True Science' – unfolding quantum connections to our shared experiences as the essence of cybernetic phantoms drift in and out of phase. Abstract island rhythms permeate the sly funk of 'Between Fields' through urban dream states against backdrops of color designed thought forms. 'Directed Intent' unfolds mystic rhythms like mist from a once-dormant tomb enclosure remote viewed from a hidden, sacred place of resonance: "To see apart from within, finds endless inspiration."

The inquisitive synthetic energy running through 'Power Lines' leans into a strand of warehouse soul both familiar and uniquely revelatory as our "connections remain still." Precognitive sentiments bolster 'Measured Steps' around flickering keyboards, disembodied piano, and post-civilization bassiness. 'Circular Truth' employs rocksteady riddim science with fractal ring mod phrasing leaving "thought as an omen alive" to end this particular chapter of else-world frequency exploration.
