CasaNoah returns to Fresh Meat Records with Uprise EP, a three-tracker that embodies his singular, eccentric approach to UK Garage and bass line house. From the first track, PNW Dreams, listeners are drawn into a deep, atmospheric journey. Subsonic cavernous bass swells ebb and flow, trading places with slap bass and wobbling synth lines, all layered beneath swirling pads and arpeggios that glide like smoke over the rhythm. The percussion is both familiar and unpredictable, with clanging rhythms, heavily swinging cymbals, and high hats keeping a sense of UK Garage cadence while the track dances to its own internal logic. Vocal layers appear chopped, rhythmic, and ecstatic, functioning almost like an additional percussive element, before ethereal lines drift in during the breakdown that could be mistaken for Sade or a similar voice, adding a soulful, dreamlike touch.

Forty7, the second track, ventures into a more recognizable speed garage territory, yet CasaNoah subverts expectation at every turn. The track opens with a stepping, warping bass line, only to switch between that and a bubbling, resonant low end. Whistling synths tie the disparate bass elements together while b-boy style scratches punctuate the groove. Vocal samples such as "real bad man" and "watch ya back" keep the track playful and kinetic, while a cinematic breakdown mid-way allows listeners a brief moment to breathe before the bass lines and rhythm return in full force, pounding all the way to the end.

The EP concludes with a remastered and slightly shorter edit of Dranks'll Make Me Dance from 2024. This version emphasizes every ounce of low-end power, removing one of the previous breakdowns while adding a swelling underbelly that perfectly complements the other tracks on the EP. The result is a cohesive three-track package that is inventive, playful, and firmly grounded in CasaNoah's idiosyncratic vision, combining deep bass explorations with rhythmic complexity, sonic surprises, and vocal flourishes that reward repeated listening.

This release showcases CasaNoah at his most adventurous, blurring the lines between UK Garage, bass house, and experimental dance music while keeping the groove alive and unrelenting. It's a digital EP designed to reward both headphone exploration and full-volume dancefloor immersion.
