mirror touch "twin moon" [keysound recordings]
Keysound Recordings are proud to present a Detroit-techno inspired three tracker by Mirror Touch, a first for Keysound.
Mirror Touch is somebody who behind the scenes has quietly but repeatedly influenced the Dusk + Blackdown's production output over the years, so it's only right he has his own release on the imprint.
"Give Me Time", "Converge" and the title cut "Twin Moon," form a bridge between emotive Detroit techno/electro and Keysound's bassy LDN explorations.

Mirror Touch bio
Mirror Touch shaped his music tastes in the early '90s roaming Berwick Street and beyond for UK hardcore and Detroit techno 12”. Back home he learned to recreate those sounds on a Tascam four track and a random collection of synths.
In 2010 his short-lived Dark Arx label channeled Detroit sounds into the post dubstep meltdown. The label’s releases included cult classic electronica from Binary Sequence, and Gerry Read’s first vinyl release, alongside his own work.
In 2019, during a long creative block, he sat down to his own take on the Detroit techno of his teenage years. The result was the Balancing EP, released on by Dan Curtin on his Metamorphic Recordings label.
The title cut’s minimal Detroit sounds earned plays from DJ Rolando, Paul Woolford and LTK Bukem, and praise from Hard Wax, the spiritual home of Berlin techno. "Twin Moon" continues the LDN Detroit creative dialog.
