This music was born from a void.
Not a void of lack, but a void of transformation.

At the heart of this melodic techno house composition lies a raw, almost unspeakable emotion: loss. A universal kind of loss that we all may encounter at some point — the loss of love, of a sense of direction, of a dream, a job, one’s health… But here, it is above all the loss of the ego that I sought to explore. That rare and intense moment when, after a long journey of inner work, everything we once clung to begins to fall away. Not in pain, but in a kind of lucid surrender — like an exhale, a release.

“You used to light my way, now I’m afraid of the dark.
I used to feel okay, now I can’t feel my heart.”

This line echoes through the track like a voice from within. It captures that turning point when we realize that what we thought was “self” was merely a reflection — shaped by expectations, wounds, and desires. And suddenly, it no longer holds. The ego wavers, grasping desperately — at a thought, a feeling, a memory — but there’s nothing left to hold on to. This feeling of emptiness, both unsettling and liberating, becomes the threshold of an inner shift.

I tried to translate this moment into music: a warm melodic progression, ethereal layers, textures fading like distant memories, and a steady pulse — the heartbeat that goes on, no matter what. It’s a piece that walks the tightrope between shadow and light, between collapse and rebirth.

It speaks of necessary erasure.
Of deep surrender.
Of fertile emptiness.

And it is within this inner silence, in the sudden absence of certainty, that awakening may arise.
Not the grand awakening of words — but the one found in the rawness of the present moment.
