Spencer Hardwick’s music exists in the realm where rhythmic and ambient sounds converge, bridging tonal and atonal with infectious groove. Now based in the Pacific Northwest, Hardwick is making his mark on the techno scene through his VAST label’s releases and events, and as a DJ/producer.
Section 9 features three modern techno trax with a percussive and polyrhythmic take on Spencer’s signature hypnotic sounds.
On A1 is Hanka Robotics, a journey through dark sci-fi soundscapes punctuated by a relentless beat, grinding bassline and subtle melodies.
Sakura is a tripped-out groover with minimalistic percussion and a pensive, ever-evolving atmosphere.
