Kevin McKay and Doozie follow up their last single ("A New Day") with this joyously understated collaboration with Canadian vocalist Elise LeGrow. Most DJs will know Elise from "It Is What It Is", her 2020 collaboration with Vintage Culture that hit the top of the charts back in 2020. Other listeners will know "Temptation", her huge streaming success with Bakermat from 2022. Listening to either of these superb songs, it was a no-brainer for us to have her on the label. "So Far" is a beautiful, deep house jam topped with Elise's wondrous words about a break-up. It's no shoe-gazing, sad song, though, as Elise delivers a supreme, positive outlook on the heartbreak. If you liked Texture's "Hit The Ground", this is for you.
