Greek-born producer Ekoboy, aka Vangelis Kostoxenakis, returns to the 12+1 London family with a brand new three-track EP. After making his debut on the label with 'Toukakan' a collaborative track with label head u z z v, from the acclaimed album Nine, Ekoboy followed up with his first solo EP last year, titled 'Way To Go'. He's back now with a fresh take and three standout tracks that showcase his versatile sound. The release kicks off with “Never Gonna Let You,” a slick minimal roller that blends crisp percussion, deep basslines and hypnotic vocal chops. Following that is “Coming For Ya,” another minimal cut with a tighter, more stripped-down rhythm, driven by glitchy textures and a warm, analog feel that nods to classic underground aesthetics. Closing the Extended Play, is the tech-house driven titled track 'Deny' a more high-energy affair with punchy drums, funky synth stabs and infectious vocal samples that make it a certified dancefloor weapon. A well-balanced record that moves effortlessly between minimal and tech-house, reaffirming the artist place in the ever evolving 12+1 London roster.
