Wendy Stubbs and David Francolini have formed a brand new psychedelic-funk-soul supergroup with a coterie of world class musicians: Dayna Fisher, Aaron Forbes, the late Angelo Bruschini, Ziv Sobelman-Yamin, Gary Alesbrook, Craig Crofton, Gareth “Long”, Bailey, Martin Eden, Bruno Valverde and Fergus Gerrand. Adrian Utley from Portishead also guests on lead guitar on this single.
Recorded in Bristol, London, Los Angeles and France this is the first of a series of radio singles taken from the album “In search of the 13th note” which will be released this autumn on the Vibrating Matter label.
In parallel to the group’s debut release (as with all the upcoming singles) there will be remixes by the Super Powers Soundsystem.
Here the legendary UK garage producer Scott Diaz presents his “2-step luv in the dubhouse” radio remix of Do It Like this.
Also the incredible house producer Richard Earnshaw presents his “Vive La France!” radio remix of Do It Like This.
Freaky Original also presents his “Step Up” remix of Do It Like This. A more dark and progressive underground vibe.
