Tash's Movement Recordings continues its 2025 campaign by welcoming Matias Chilano back to the label for a brand-new EP. The Argentine artist has remained a vital voice within the progressive house landscape for well over a decade, known for his emotive style and immersive storytelling. A key contributor to the Movement roster since his debut in 2017, Matias has delivered two EPs and five remixes, while also finding a home on acclaimed imprints such as Sudbeat, Proton Music, Meanwhile, Or Two Strangers, and Higher States. With long-time support from genre pillars Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Guy J, Matias now makes a highly anticipated return to the label with Metamorphosis, a three-track EP that signals both artistic depth and continued evolution.
The EP opens with ‘Falling', a warm, hypnotic piece built on swirling textures and emotive pads, perfect for early or late-night sets. ‘Rubik' follows with darker undertones, a groovy foundation, and subtle melodic interplay designed for deeper floors. Closing with the title track ‘Metamorphosis', Matias offers a spacious, introspective journey filled with airy motifs and understated drama, capturing the essence of transformation in sound. Elegant, immersive, and deeply felt, Metamorphosis marks a standout return to Movement Recordings from one of Argentina's finest progressive voices.
