This album was inspired by the passing of time and our perception of it as our lives progress. Often as we look back on our experiences we prefer to remember the positive rather than the negative, the familiar rather than the unfamiliar. Viewing old, faded photographic prints emphasise the dissolution of time, the distance that has passed since those moments were captured. The lack of clarity of the visual is mirrored by the loss of distinction in thought.

Sounds drift in and out, fade away and then return with a sense they have never been heard before.

Nostalgia is a powerful emotion. It nourishes as we grow old.
