Here we have three new takes on tracks from Ibiza-based DJ/producer Sadeedo's The Desert Island EP.

Label boss Chris Coco gets involved with a stripped-down bass-heavy dub; deep electronica maestro SONLIFE delivers a trademark atmospheric version; and on the lead track Portuguese rapper Be From The World delivers some wildly hooky bars that speak of the search for liberation from the machine and a sense of peace.

The result of a chance meeting - Barnabe (Be From The World) was visiting Ibiza, heard the tune at my birthday party and said he'd love to toast to it. Who would have thought Portuguese rapping would go so well with it?! I love his style, his flow, the catchy chorus, and the lyrics are powerful, very much written for the moment.

Sonlife:

Sonlife blessed this tune with his elegant trademark sound...that gentle garage-like groove, it's kind of laid back and introspective, but you're always bouncing. Love the subtle atmospheric additional synths he laid down which also gave it some real depth!

Coco Dub:

Chris Coco took us to an even more smoked out place with his Dubble Apple Dub. It's almost as if we've gone further down into the basement of the same shisha cafe - it's so smoky in here I can't see, but let's not leave just yet...
