Originally released in 2001 through the influential house label Azuli Records-then located above the iconic Black Market Records shop on D'Arblay Street-'GoodLife' by Brown & Brown aka (Jocelyn Brown & Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown) quickly became a favourite among underground UK garage and soulful house fans. Produced by Karl Brown, of the legendary Tuff Jam duo and a pioneering figure in the UKG scene, the track embodied that soulful U.S. inspired sound that defined the early 2000s.
The original release included mixes by the likes of Spen & Karizma, M&S, John Alvarez, A.P.M, Kool Drop, and Qualifide, showcasing the track's versatility and appeal across soulful and garage dancefloors.
Now, nearly two decades later, 2TUF4U Records-the label that originally nurtured the project-is bringing 'GoodLife' back into the spotlight.
