Orishas De Las Islas is a new project from Roger Sanchez and Kristen Knight fusing elements of Latin , Afro and Tribal house with spiritual vocals with AfroCuban, Meso American and Yoruba roots. Orishas festival was successfully launched in Mexico last year with Orishas De Las Islas as the collaborative musical component. Yemaya is a tribute to the Goddess of the Oceans with a call of the tribal drum and soaring latin vocals of Kristen Knight.
