Pentland Park return to Lava Lava this March with their sophomore EP for the Glasgow label. 'Turismo' follows on from a highly-acclaimed 2023 Italo/Nu-Disco label debut and an amazing contribution to last year's WAVES compilation.

With their latest 4-track EP, the Glaswegian duo showcase their impressive and diverse range of production prowess, creating a record which is catered towards intimate and unforgettable dance floor moments.

Opening the EP, 'Nostalgic' is a dynamic dance floor-focussed track where raw percussion, retro hand claps and squelching bass hits skip alongside swirling pads and hazy melodies. The title track perfectly encapsulates the playfulness of the duo. Bright pads, soft trumpet samples and light acid tinged synth lines weave alongside a bouncing bass line and choppy vocal hooks.

'Love Your Neighbour' is a nod to Afro-House where shuffling percussion and twinkling synths bounce alongside deep low-end stabs and horn samples. Chopped vocals subtly unfold to give a real evocative energy. Finally, 'Rooftop' is constantly evolving throughout with resonant bass, a crisp rhythm section and cinematic atmospherics intertwining with sharp synth licks.
