Somersault returns to Gruuv for his third release, with UK garage, house and minimal tech vibes, spearheaded by dancefloor raiser, Sky.
Somersault says 'I wrote this EP over the last few months here in Australia after spending a couple of years living in London. A lot of the music I love comes from London and my experiences in the city have had a strong impression on my music, particularly on the Sky EP. I wanted to leave plenty of space for the Moog synth bass lines to really hold their own and be the main feature of each track. I wanted to bring a bit more packed UK rave energy to the tracks so there are real nasty bass face moments as well as big euphoric sections. I always try to go for a balance between naughty and nice in my tracks. I'm really excited for the world to hear this EP as it's a real cocktail of all my influences and an accurate snapshot of where my creativity is at.'
