What do you do when you can't choose between three tracks artists send you? Well, you release all of them of course! Having the honour of breaking the 'double' tradition on Agrio Tracks for the first time are Amsterdam's house revelation NewTone. Coming off the back of a highly successful release with Dart's Rapid Tracks, the Dutch duo stays steadily on course with a set of club & festival ready modern day prog-housers.

Leading the trio is title track 'Burning Inside', balancing both catchy vocals and melodies with laid back organ pay-offs. The driving rhythm combined with the emotional undertones make it hard to stand still and equally hard to get this earworm out of your head in the hours that follow.

Next up is 'Astrocyte', referencing the star-shaped braincell that supports, connects and adapts. At its heart you will find a cheeky organ melody playing call-and-response with raw trance-like synth stabs. On top lie subtle vocal hooks and proggy gated synths, which are all lead towards a powerful and euphoric piano break by the deep rolling bass line, rewarding the listener (or dance floor) with the inevitable pay-off.

Finishing off the label's rule-breaking EP is 'Colours of Music', a patient and sentimental ode to present day progressive house. A rolling bass line finds itself intertwined with crisp and dynamic drums, synths and vocals, perfectly gluing a full spectrum of sound together. A tear and a smile can be found within, depending on your current mood, bringing the EP home as a whole.
