Designers of a prolific discography, Lucas and Pieter's arresting creations have garnered support from major players, including the likes of Tale Of Us and Camelphat, as they carve a unique trajectory, empowered by a sound that exists in its own timeline, lying far beyond the imagination of most modern creators.
Reflecting what once was, the EP's titular "Echoes" finds RE-TYPE knee-deep in a chugging groove where thumping kicks and restless hi-hats drive us down a cavernous rabbit hole of illusions. Here, we are lured by washed-out vocals that linger, echoing across mirrored halls before coming into focus as they light up the piece, unveiling a laser-cut lead line for a dazzling experience.
