Dusty is back with As Above So Below, a forthcoming vinyl EP on Jazz & Milk, and the first taste comes in the form of "Visions." Known for fusing soulful warmth with boundary-pushing sounds, Dusty crafts vibrant deep house grooves using his beloved MPC, blending organic live instrumentation with his signature sample-driven style.
"Visions" features warm Rhodes chords, lush synth arpeggios, and a rolling bassline, capturing the spirit of classic warehouse vibes while adding a fresh, modern bounce. The full EP takes this approach further, with live performances and collaborations from Ghanaian vocalist King Owusu (Jembaa Groove) and Henrique Gomide (Caixa Cubo) on Rhodes piano, creating a dynamic fusion of jazz, dub, African rhythms, and house music.
Already receiving support from the likes of DJ Harvey and Peter Kruder, "Visions" offers a first glimpse into the genre-defying journey of As Above So Below.
