Hyper Totem is an atmospheric sound collage by aon (aka ISH, Kind des Geistes) and Neu Verboten, recorded in the raw industrial environment of Mahalla, a warehouse and art cultural hub in Berlin. Using a Tascam recorder, the artists captured unfiltered field recordings that were later blended with modern sounds and effects, creating an immersive experience. The EP serves as a sonic ritual, juxtaposing ancient symbols with post-industrial elements and crafting a haunting reflection on primal traditions in a hyper-modern world.
