Close Encounter is a trip on cosmic waves in tropical surroundings, lead by Worship's magic synthesizers. Musically speaking, our man was inspired by everything from Abba to Frank Zappa. Nevertheless, the result is a merger of italo & space disco, retro instrumentals and an air of mystery.
With his foregoing releases on On the Fruit Records and Holographic People, Worship has gained support from the likes of Steve Moore, Henry Saiz, Anoraak, Drop out Orchestra, Goldroom, Zimmer along with blog love from Electronic Rumors, Gotta Dance Dirty, Discobelle, Harder Blogger Faster, Circle Square Triangle and Neonized, to name a few.
